Preserving the client's documented record of five priority arterial corridors connecting regional economies, agricultural zones, and maritime ports across Nigeria.

LAGOS-CALABAR COASTAL HIGHWAY
Project 1 of 5

LAGOS-CALABAR COASTAL HIGHWAY

A Dream of decades, now under construction with the 750 km super highway from Victoria Island, Lagos through Ogun, Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers, Akwa Ibom to Cross River

The idea of a coastal highway has existed for decades. Earlier governments shelved it because of cost and complexity. This administration began construction. A completed corridor is meant to cut travel times, open up coastal communities, link ports and industrial zones, and create jobs along its length. Per-kilometre cost compares favourably with several inherited roads. Tolling is planned to recover construction costs.

Sections beyond Lagos still need procurement, construction and funding. The 750 km scope is unchanged and that planned East-West Road work complements rather than replaces it. This is exactly why completion needs continuity.

SOKOTO - BADAGRY SUPER HIGHWAY

The highway which 1,068 km long starts at Illela in Sokoto State on the Nigeria-Niger border, passes through Kebbi, Niger and Kwara States, and ends at Badagry in Lagos State. It also crosses Oyo and Ogun States. It is a flagship project of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The road is concrete-paved. It is a six-lane highway, with a corridor that includes 53 dams for agriculture and power generation. It links Nigeria to Benin, Togo and Niger Republics.

Project 3 of 5

LAGOS-IBADAN EXPRESSWAY

The expressway is Nigeria’s busiest inter-state route and a major trade corridor. It is the busiest inter-state route in Africa, runs 127 km and links Lagos with the South-West hinterland and the North.

The main carriageway is fully complete, with periodic bridge maintenance (e.g. Kara and Magboro) continuing to ensure safety.

ABUJA – KADUNA - KANO HIGHWAY

ABUJA – KADUNA - KANO HIGHWAY

The highway is a 750 km dual-carriageway linking the FCT with Niger, Kaduna and Kano States. It is split into three sections: Section 1 (Abuja to Kaduna), Section 2 (Kaduna to Zaria) and Section 3 (Zaria to Kano), all of which have been completed.

AKWANGA – JOS - BAUCHI – GOMBE – BIU - MAIDUGURI HIGHWAY
Project 5 of 5

AKWANGA – JOS - BAUCHI – GOMBE – BIU - MAIDUGURI HIGHWAY

The Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri Highway is a 700-km, six-lane concrete highway (continuously reinforced concrete pavement). It is designated the Fourth Legacy Project and links five North-Central and North-East states. The five sections are: Akwanga-Kaduna-Jos (125 km), Jos-Bauchi (135 km), Bauchi-Gombe (162 km), Gombe-Biu (125 km) and Biu-Maiduguri (188 km).

It is was the only remaining corridor in Nigeria without a dual carriageway. The 420 km Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe stretch is the part that has been announced for dualization, while the remaining sections are for future development.
